१. One of the + Plural Noun + Singular Verb:
या रचनेत 'One of the' नंतर येणारे नाम अनेकवचनी असते, परंतु कर्ता 'One' असल्याने क्रियापद नेहमी एकवचनी येते:

२. A number of vs The number of:
A number of: याचा अर्थ 'पुष्कळ/अनेक' (Many) असा होतो ➔ अनेकवचनी क्रियापद (Plural Verb).
The number of: याचा अर्थ 'विशिष्ट संख्या' असा एकवचनी होतो ➔ एकवचनी क्रियापद (Singular Verb).

'More than one' चा फसवा पॅटर्न (MPSC Favorite):
- More than one + Singular Noun + Singular Verb: "More than one candidate was rejected." (जरी अर्थ एकापेक्षा जास्त असला, तरी 'one' नंतर एकवचनी नाम व क्रियापद लागते).
